André Tehrani (b. 1980 in Tønsberg, Norway) is a Norwegian-Iranian artist educated at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Tehrani's paintings can be described as a variant of post-digital abstraction, which draws on everything from Islamic architecture and esoteric western formalisms, to web design templates and HTML colour charts. His works have previously been shown at Galleri LNM, Oslo (2019), Kunstnernes Hus, Oslo (2018), MELK, Oslo (2017), Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo (2017), Tallinn Art Hall, Tallinn (2017), Hordaland Kunstsenter, Bergen (2016), WIELS Contemporary Art Centre, Brussels (Project room, 2014), Entrée, Bergen (2013) and Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2013).
